The special spirit of the Daughters of St. Anne is: by their fully self-surrendered life, after the model of their Congregation’s patron Saint Anne, to prepare for Christ’s coming of the minds and hearts of the poor and the downtrodden who sit in the darkness of sin waiting for a Saviour. Resembling St. Anne who prepared Mother Mary to become the mother of Jesus, the Daughters of St. Anne too have been called by God, and have been sent by Him, for this same sacred ministry.
The Daughters of St. Anne joyfully give their co-operation to those ecclesial works in which our Mother church has to face great difficulties in bringing forth and to bring up her sons and daughters. The Daughters of St. Anne rejoices in doing difficult works, because through them the Church’s children continue to increase in number and in quality.
